In The Community…

RW Sheckles is committed to supporting the community and giving back through multiple local charities. In 2018, we partnered with the Western Maryland chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for the Annual Light the Night Walk, a year round campaign to raise funds for research dedicated to treating and curing cancer. In 2019, our own William Cole accepted the roll of Corporate Walk Chair of the Western MD Light the Night Walk, and under his leadership, RW Sheckles raised over $7,800! In 2020, we hosted our first annual Light the Night Golf Tournament, raising over $10,000 and crushing our goal for the year despite COVID-19 doing it’s best to shut down the world. RWS became a member of the Corporate Honor Roll in 2017 with a donation to Frederick Health. We also participate annually at the Team Hope Silent and Live Auction. Team Hope is a Frederick based charity which raises money for copays and daily expenses for those fighting breast cancer. RWS has also supported local youth sports teams, Hospice House, Frederick YMCA, Frederick American Legion, The ARC of Frederick County, the Nursing program at the Frederick County Career and Technology Center & the Frederick County 4-H program.
